Dr. Paredes has over 30 years of experience in the medical field. He is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from San Carlos University in Guatemala City, Guatemala. His Family Medicine specialty was completed at Bella Vista Hospital in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. In addition, he completed a fellowship in Geriatrics from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) / Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
